LAUNCHING A BRAND IDENTITY REFRESH WITH MAXIMUM ENGAGEMENT

CHALLENGE

We were initially tasked by W/R/B Underwriting to undertake a brand audit of their proposition and brand identity and suggest ways we could improve on what they had without reinventing it. We suggested they had the foundations in place with their ‘Intelligent underwriting’ proposition... but it needed substantiating.

SOLUTION

We created a visual and verbal language that mirrored the logo and was a subtle yet very significant advance on where they were. The refresh proved an instant success, so much so that we were then tasked with branding their offices across 3 floors of the Scalpel AND the not-insignificant challenge of coordinating a launch party.

RESULTS

We themed the party under the ‘Perfectly Positioned’ banner which was both geographically literal and reflective of their position in the market. We infused the new branding throughout touch-points at the party which started with setting out the new brand values and then ended with a spectacular party on the top floor of the Scalpel.

THE BRAND IDENTITY REFRESH

The brand identity refresh featured bold, succinct and memorable headline copy that mirrored the logo and was allied with eye-catching imagery. A move away from clichéd business imagery gave WRB a distinctive and more aspirational identity.

THE LAUNCH PARTY

We coordinated the launch party at the new W/R/B head office in the Scalpel. This included an early evening gathering and video presentation from the CEO introducing the brand refresh. The evening concluded with a drinks reception on the top floor with its unrivalled views over the City.

MAKING THE EVENING EDUCATIONAL AND ENGAGING

As part of the launch party, we created a corporate video with key ‘talking heads’ messages and a summation of the brand proposition and values. Here is a short clip from the video.

Office branding is very much a key tool in enforcing company brand values – we always like to try and go one better and make interior graphics both educational and engaging with bold and thought-provoking imagery.

SPREADING THE WORD ON SOCIAL MEDIA

We made sure there was a good balance of brand-awareness activity and plenty of posts generating excitement both leading up to the launch party and on the evening itself.
