HDI Global SE and Hannover Re decided to form a new, joint venture specialty business. Our brief was to develop a brand proposition and identity that would communicate their dynamic and collaborative approach to specialty insurance.
After global research via workshops and interviews to identify what made them genuinely different in their market, we worked to develop a verbal and visual language to reflect our findings. Branding was applied across multiple platforms including promotional materials, website and internal ‘hub’.
The brand was successfully launched globally across 10 countries simultaneously, both externally, with a full range of marketing support and internally, with a launch event at each of the global offices. The new brand creates real engagement with both employees and clients alike.
Working closely with the senior leaders we created a brand positioning film to communicate differentiation and visually articulate key messages.
Working with existing parent brand assets we created a new distinctive visual identity and focused messaging direction. We developed a structure enabling imagery and messaging to be displayed consistently while ensuring flexibility and brand recognition.
To create a buzz internally around launch of the new business, a pre-launch pack was sent with scissors, branded ribbon and a leaflet encouraging each office to celebrate in their own way. For the launch, a second box was sent to each office comprising a letter from the CEO, timeline poster, positioning brochure, desktop pull-up banners and video card with an internal film focused on staff messages and encouraging celebrating!
We work closely with HDI Global Specialty SE on all their social media channels, constantly building brand awareness and delivering measurable engagement via targeted campaigns.
