After what feels like , the UK’s biggest insurance conference is finally back! 

BIBA 2022 is making a triumphant return to Manchester for a first ‘in-person’ event in 3 years.  There’s a palpable sense of expectation and anticipation in the air. But, as more than 12,000 insurance professionals await the opening of the event, there’s still plenty to be done before BIBA begins in earnest on May 11th. Throughout this we’ll be sharing our tips to help you make the most of the conference, and ensure BIBA 2022 is your best yet!

Get the ball rolling! Get social!

As with any event, having a cohesive social media strategy is essential to ensure you engage with your future clients before, during and after the conference. In the days and weeks leading up to BIBA you should begin sprinkling in some social posts trailing ahead to the conference, these can be anything from general messaging, such as who of your team will be attending, to insight blogs covering key product lines or new policy wording you’re launching at the event. The main objective with the pre-event social is to inform your clients and potential new ones know that you’re attending, where they can find you (stand number) and what you’re showcasing. Once BIBA 2022 has begun,  you should start to roll out a suite of pre-prepared social posts which can be live-posted along with pictures of your team or stand. Likewise, if you’re involved in one of the many keynotes this year – be sure to post about it a few hours beforehand and include the name and location of the seminar. Invite questions in advance because it encourages your audience to interact with you.  Make sure you use the event hashtag #BIBA2022 to maximise your post reach and engagement potential, and tag any relevant brands or individuals.

Amid all the excitement, the hustle and bustle, the networking and the exploring, you could be missing out on the chance to create new and engaging content.
