As a full-services marketing agency for the insurance industry, we are extremely interested in every single one of the awards and keen to hear more about each of the nominees for all categories. Our digital team is particularly looking forward to the Digital Marketing Campaign of the Year, which has got us reflecting on a recent Insurance Age article on the future of InsurTech and how consumers are now demanding “digital first”.
The article looked at a European-wide study by Fujitsu which revealed a shift in insurance consumer interaction whereby the majority now want to at least have the option to interact with their insurance providers on digital platforms.
According to the 7,000 surveyed, more than a third (37 percent) threaten to leave their provider if they don’t offer up-to-date technology. So, effective digital marketing campaigns are more relevant for the insurance industry than ever.
