MNK were undertaking a major restructuring and realigning of their various businesses and approached brandformula in late 2024 to pitch for creating an overarching approach to branding that could unite all the different businesses including the establishing of a parent Company (MNK Group), a service company (MNKGCS), Broking (MNK International) and Underwriting (Specialty MGA). We won the pitch on the strength of our understanding of the complex nature of the project and our understanding of the sensitivities of creating a brand that needed to work in different global markets including Europe, North America, Central America and India. After deciding unanimously on a design built around a simple arrow device ('The MNK Signal’) that could adapt to all their brands, there then followed an intense six month period of creating a consistent wider brand identity that ‘could flex and scale as their business grows.’ For all the 4 core brands we created a comprehensive set of guidelines, office manifestations (including posters) and delivered a wide range of launch collateral pieces.
