Branding and promoting the flagship mortgage awards evening

We were challenged to create a unifying visual identity for the L&G Mortgage Club’s 2025 conference, which also marked their 30th anniversary. This event had previously been pretty understated and each year looked pretty much like the year before. L&G wanted this year’s event to be the year that the took the award evening to another level with its own unique look and feel. They wanted the audience to feel inspired, energised, positively challenged to open their thinking and to feel proud to be associated with the Mortgage Club. We pitched several ideas and the universal favourite among their steering team was a Tangram idea based around the house treated in a way that suggested traditional values with contemporary thinking.

“From anticipation to event execution we created an interactive execution that lead with a classic Tangram puzzle. Leaning into the opportunity to shape the next 30 years the Tangram puzzle provided a powerful visual metaphor for the housing/mortgage market. The evening was acknowledged as being the best yet and the branding was quoted by many delegates as being a crucial part of the evening's success.”
