A few weeks ago, the brandformula team headed to Manchester for BIBA 2025 - Europe’s biggest event in the insurance broking calendar. This year’s conference brought together nearly 10,000 industry professionals for two days of networking, innovation, and forward-thinking conversations. It was one of our biggest BIBAs yet, so after months of designing, planning, and coordinating, it was fantastic to be on-site and see everything come together.

As a first-time attendee, stepping into the hall and experiencing the buzz firsthand was a great introduction to the conference. When I arrived at about 9am on Wednesday, the event was already packed full of eager brokers, insurers, and industry leaders all ready to make the most of the next couple of days.

The first thing you notice walking in is how bold and eye-catching the stands are - each one unique with its own theme. From pub-themed stands featuring ex-professional dart players to others which incorporated customised arcade games, each stand had something different to offer.  

Our Role

Throughout the event, the team were hands-on, supporting our clients across their stands and digital platforms. We handled everything from live video production, stand engagement, and managing online presence, as we worked behind the scenes to capture key moments and post live updates as the action unfolded.  

On the digital front, it was exciting to be a part of bringing real-time content to life, running social campaigns and maximising both our clients’ and our own digital reach. Beyond the screens, it was also great to catch up with some of our clients!

Final Thoughts

BIBA 2025 was a brilliant first experience. It was busy, insightful, and a real opportunity to see the insurance world come together in one place.

I came away with new ideas, some valuable conversations, and a better understanding of the industry. Here’s to next year!
