Things are rather quiet in the Exhibition Hall this morning. Delegates are few in number as the sessions get underway and the search for that early morning coffee begins.

Yesterday afternoon saw the exhibition in full flow, with the majority of exhibitors hosting their regular drinks receptions, taking the time to relax with customers and prospects. The time for the 'big pitch' had passed and this was very much about personal relationships and taking the time to discuss the key issues of the day, and to take part in the engagements on the booths.

We have seen two exhibitors using VR this year to great effect, not in terms of how it can support a greater understanding of risk, but as pure entertainment, but I'm sure that this will follow shortly and when will it be that we see the first drone flying around the Hall?

One player on the Liberty booth enjoyed herself so much with the VR Rollercoaster that she fell off of her chair, but thankfully, no harm done.

Just time for a quick coffee before next session and perhaps our thoughts can turn to Deauville in 2017.
