With less than a week to go until the Airmic Conference in Harrogate, the team is finishing off the final elements of support for all of our clients attending – and this year we will be supporting our largest ever number of clients!
Central to our attendance this year has been the time that we have spent with Risk Managers and Professionals, understanding their thoughts and concerns around the future risks that they face and how, working with insurers, they can be better placed to manage these – limiting the effects and impact of them. It is clear that many are uncertain of how the market can support them with these ‘new challenges’ and that they are keen to work with and understand more about the capabilities and the value that they can provide – particularly in the area of environmental and cyber risks.
This provides an ideal platform for all attending the Conference – and something that Airmic has embraced within the title of the Conference, ‘New World. New Solutions.’, to share with delegates how they can help – but remembering that the messaging and content is just as relevant to those that aren’t able to make the trip to Harrogate. So, we’re expecting to see lots of thought leadership, insight and provoking content – shared within the Conference as well as outside. We’re also expecting an array of comments and presentations that are looking to inform as well as challenge – be that in the Workshops, on social media or in presentations on the exhibition stands.
It will be interesting to see who is making the very best of the latest technologies to demonstrate and articulate their messages and those who are perhaps adopting a more ‘old school’ approach to expressing a message – alignment is something that our insight showed as a clear weakness in the market. Saying one thing and doing another isn’t the best strategy!
