It’s been a busy year for the team, and what better way to reflect on our achievements than one of our busiest events to close the decade – FERMA Forum 2019! Not only did we support the largest number of clients yet, we also designed and created the winner of ‘Best Exhibition Booth’!
What is FERMA and what did we do?
The FERMA Forum is Europe’s largest risk and insurance management conference, which brings together professionals from across the industry to discuss key trends and market challenges. This year, the theme of ‘aim for the future’ took precedent, with a key focus on digital transformation and sustainable growth.
We supported our largest number of clients yet, with a total of 16 across stand design and engagement, digital campaigns and filming as well as brand activation. During the event, we also managed 3 hospitality suites and 5 client parties as well as delivering our renowned FERMA TV! With increasing market rates, the industry must have the necessary conversations which conferences such as FERMA allow, to build the relationships they need to succeed and progress within the market. It’s not just about doing business, but they must also engage and interact with those around them.
This year marked a record event for us and our largest FERMA yet. The full event was a massive achievement for the team following 2 years of preparation. We are delighted to announce that the accolade of ‘Best Exhibition Booth’ was awarded to our client, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. The runner-up was also one of our many clients that we supported. This is a true testament to our dedicated team, delivering consistently inspiring outcomes that can guarantee results.
Speaking of results, who else would support a client with a brand-new booth design and build just a week before the event?! A great turnaround from the team.
We are delighted to have supported the registration process for the event, through our email campaigns and social media support, to really shout about the value of attending such a prestigious event. This year marks the highest number of registered attendees ever.
Martin Wiggins, Managing Director, commented: “One achievement that is overlooked is actually getting our clients on board. Many of them commit to exhibition support before they know how much of a success the event will be. Clients are nervous, and we need to ease any worries they may have, allowing them to focus on the business requirements whilst we take care of everything else. It made it all the more important to ensure we brought as many people to the event as possible.”
Executive Director, Neil Johnson, added: “It wasn’t just something that had to happen at our end – FERMA had to strip back to the basics and allow the event to be accessible for all. Location is everything – it must not only be easy to get to, but also affordable. FERMA delivered both of these, hosting the event in Berlin – one of the best-connected cities in Europe. The host location – the Estrel, may have been slightly out of the city centre, but this allowed attendees to come together in a true community spirit.”
