It’s good to finally have the chance to meet people and businesses face-to-face after the disruption and complication caused by the pandemic over the last couple of years. At a time of bearish markets caused by the events in Ukraine, the Summit is a time to be bullish about the changing world and how insurance can be a force for good in uncertain times.
The tiny archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean is one of the main centres for the insurance and reinsurance industries, representing around a third of the total global market. Bermuda’s also re-inventing itself as the go-to place for emerging trends related to environmental catastrophe.
Brandformula CEO, Martin Wiggins, and Executive Director, Neil Johnson, are both looking forward to their first trip back to Bermuda since before the lockdowns in 2020.
