Imaginative and award-winning stands achieve great brand visibility

The brief
QBE were looking to improve the way they attended exhibitions and build on their sponsorship of rugby in the UK. Unsure how best to achieve the results they wanted, QBE asked FWD to come up with some ideas that built on the rugby theme and demonstrated their commitment to the UK insurance market.

Following a pitch, FWD was appointed to provide a range of exhibition stands, based upon our creative thinking and logistical support - taking away the hassle associated with attending events.

The solution
Our experience indicated early on that 'modular' systems would not deliver the quality of build required to support the business objectives, and the decision was made to develop a range of ideas based upon a custom build. Using the impact of the theme of rugby and the iconic shapes this provides we developed a range of design ideas each with three separate zones to cater for the objectives of the stand.

The result
The highly impactful solutions combined with activity - both pre event and at the exhibitions themselves, enabled us to deliver a hugely successful stand that won awards for the level of creativity and impact.

Taking the idea of communicating with those attending the exhibitions beyond the confines of the hall itself, we used high-impact structures outside of the venue allowing greater brand visibility and stand out from the competitors.
