A new website with stakeholders' interests at heart
The brief
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) appointed us as their digital marketing agency in January 2011 following a competitive pitch. The site was last redesigned in 2007. Since then a number of elements have been added to site, leading to issues with navigation and clarity.
"Feedback on the site from our members was that it became rather confusing as we bolted on new content," says Leighann Forsyth, Head of Communications. We decided to rebuild it from scratch, making navigation a priority and bringing it bang up to date in terms of technology and its interaction with social media."
The result
BIBA's new website has stakeholders' interests at its core. Focused content is easily available to each user group. It is highlighted using columns and colour coding. There is more direct access to the different sections of the site and to key content using a range of navigation options.
There is a new document library that members can use to access the latest regulatory and technical documents in a functional and visual way, while the consumer section has enhanced functionality and usability. Social media is fully integrated into the site so that BIBA can demonstrate the lengths they go to on behalf of members, consumers and the insurance industry as a whole.

"The brandformula team understood our needs and hit all the right buttons. We're delighted to have appointed them for this project."
