NIG Online Advertising
The brief
Summer 2011 was the first opportunity for NIG to showcase their new identity. They wanted a campaign that had a summer theme, was engaging and succinctly presented four core business offerings – 'swift response', 'local support', 'tailored products' and 'dedicated people'.
The solution
We created a summer campaign that had a bit of, well, balls behind it featuring beach balls containing these four offerings. The campaign ran in trade press as wraps and various formats, and as animated ads. We produced online ads in 'leader', 'leaderboard', 'skyscraper' and 'MPU' formats that all featured on the Insurance Age homepage. The beach balls lent themselves to animation with balls bouncing vertically on the larger format ads and balls rolling horizontally on the leaderboard ad.
The result
The effect of bouncing balls on four ads running alongside each other on the Insurance Age homepage made for an engaging and high impact series of ads. Running concurrently with 'wraps' for Insurance Age magazine the message of NIG 'meaning business' was powerfully, but engagingly, delivered.
