Manchester Underwriting
The brief
Manchester Underwriting Management (MUM)wanted a visual identity that was bold and eye-catching and presented them as not just another underwriting provider. at the same time they didn't want anything too high concept or complicated. Simplicity was the key.
The solution
We created a simple visual identity that reflected their diamond logo allied to a strong use of black. The effect was simple, confident and something that, visually, was genuinely a little bit different. We proposed that this idea of being a 'little bit different' be used as a strapline as well – it didn't over promise yet was confident at the same time. Visually, the look and feel transferred seamlessly across print, the website and email newsletters.
The result
MUM were delighted with an identity that gave them a very powerful presence and was easy to adapt to different formats. The 'little bit different' solution is one that is instantly recognisable and confident – something that they have embraced and feel perfectly sums up the MUM ethos.
