Taking the IWSC to the next level
The brief
The IWSC Group is the world leader in organising wine and spirit competitions around the globe. Along with the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC), widely considered the world's premier competition of its kind, the Group has also brought other specialist events and competitions into its stable. Our brief was to establish a distinctive brand identity for each brand in the group which supports IWSC brand values and which is engaging and memorable in its own right.
The solution
We designed the logos and visual identity for Spirits of Mexico, Whiskies of the World and What Food, What Wine? The client's brief led us away from creating a house style; we focused on giving each competition an identity that suited its events, objectives and target demographic.
The result
The logos have been well received by key stakeholders and quickly accepted and used. Each competition has a very recognisable look and feel. The events are set up to grow strongly, within the framework of the logos and graphic styles that we've developed with the client.
